Christmas Shopping

Have you started/finished your Christmas shopping yet?

Have you still got stuff to get?

When will you start if not already?

I have only 2 more presents to get then I'm done for other people, all I have to get after that is all of my OH's things and his stocking fillers :hee:

Shaun 15-11-2016 02:23 PM

Bought seven so far.

Still have to buy eight presents :worry: and 3 of them are kinda expensive.

Will. 15-11-2016 02:23 PM

Are you paid monthly? D: that'd be such a pain in the ass. I'm weekly but obviously on a "when I get offered hours" basis so it depends how much work I get

Yeah that's the thing with monthly pay

Niamh. 15-11-2016 02:37 PM

I've been paid monthly now for so long I couldn't imagine organising my stuff by the week

I don't agree with the commercialisation of a Christian festival.

For me, it's no longer a Christian festival just a nice time of the year to spend time at home with your family, eat, drink and exchange gifts

Probs start on like 20th December or something

caprimint 15-11-2016 03:36 PM

I'm probably over halfway but still got some things to get. Will hopefully have it mostly all done by the start of December. I don't know how people leave it till Xmas Eve. D:

smudgie 15-11-2016 04:11 PM

Wine and alcohol presents bought last week.
Crackers cards and pressie bags bought today.
Biscuits, chocolates and nuts etc over the last month.
Daughter has changed her list at least 4 times in the last three weeks so she can get what she likes and I will transfer the money.
Son will be going on a shopping night with his sister to buy clothes etc with his money when she comes home for Xmas.
No hassles at all..perfect.:joker:

Cherie 15-11-2016 04:38 PM

Oh I forgot I have got foodie bits in and I got wrapping paper , cards, Yankee candles, Christmas socks and some gift sets in the Jan sales so I'm half way there

thesheriff443 15-11-2016 06:11 PM

I got nothing yet, was going round house of Fraser last week end, if my other half really likes some thing she gives it a little pat, boots got a pat Ralph Loren bag got a pat perfume got a pat Pandora braclett and a ring got a pat, it's good because I know what to get her.

Smithy 15-11-2016 06:12 PM

Finished two people's and part way there on nearly everyone else's, struggling with what to get some people though :worry:

BigSister 18-11-2016 11:06 AM

Go most of my presents just got vouchers to get haven't bought my Christmas cards yet though

Black Dagger 18-11-2016 12:12 PM

Not started yet.

But then last year my wages from my last job were ridiculously late so I didn't have any money until the middle of December, and I did it all in one go anyway, so I'm in no rush.
