banned members list?
 

HI, I know we have the "recent members banned list"but is there a reason that we cant see say the banned "actual active" members list for the last say 3 months as a permanent aspect of the site?

Oh and can we have "posts deleted" message when this happens, neem always does this so can other mods and admin come in line as it adds to the transparency of the site and really is not too much extra work as its just 2 words?

I think I remember someone mentioning the 'banned members' thing recently and James said they don't have it because of encouraging discussing about them or something (I can't remember exactly but I think that was why).

It might be good though if banned members had something on their profile that shows when they're unbanned? That way they wouldn't be on a list that everyone can see, you'd have to search it out, and it could also reduce discussions about banned members because you wouldn't have people asking in chat threads "when is xxx back?"

Maybe a better way to deal with things when discussions get heated would be to deny the person in question access to a that section instead for a period of time?

I think the way the recent bans thing works is mainly to give information about who is banned for a short while, without drawing too much attention to those that are banned.

Also, most of the members that get banned are spam accounts, so that gets excluded from the list.

I wish the reasons people are banned were revealed if their ban is permanent- I'd still like to know why Tiago was banned but the reply if I asked would be that it's none of my business or just no reply.

Id be shook if it was gpf but either way I liked the Tiago, he was genuinenly lovely and I enjoyed playing games with him

Don't think it was gamepodfan. Just looked and he was banned because of constantly spamming his games and polls and bombarding peoples PM inboxes about them even after he'd been warned for it about 3 times in a week

Fair enough, the spamming was annoying but easy enough to ignore too

Aww i feel kinda bad he was banned for that, I think he was trying to get people involved and never understood it was a bit annoying, I got a pm every time he hosted a new poll and it never hobestly bothered me. He was nice enough in asking.

Those name polls were the worst thing since Chernobyl
