Josy 28-11-2016 07:13 AM

Aww thank you Ammi  I love when they are all up and just sitting with the fire and tree lights on it's so cosy :flutter:

..we're actually going to have Christmas in a hotel, its the first time we've done it so I hope it's ok..it's harder when your children have partners because they have two families so Christmas can't stay the same forever with traditions etc, so over the last few years we've created new traditions just so that it doesn't feel like, aww wasn't it lovely when and also so that they don't feel so stretched themselves in rushing around.../anyways they're all coming over to spend some time with us at the hotel as well../differing amount of times, plus some other family and friends are coming as well so it's going to be something different for all of us...

caprimint 28-11-2016 09:29 AM

Your house looks so cosy :flutter:

We'll probably put ours up next week sometime (when it reaches December).

Crimson Dynamo 28-11-2016 09:41 AM

i actually have a strand of gold tinsel up in the living room, in about feb smallest boy LT noticed that we had not taken it down so we decided to keep it up all year :hee:

smudgie 28-11-2016 09:41 AM

Your house looks so cosy Josy, your decs are gorgeous.
As much as we have done is hubby put the outside tree lights on yesterday, ready for my birthday.
We will probably bring our little tree in from outdoors into the garage, then the cold utility before we shock the beggar into submission sometime next week.
I know exactly how the room will look as the same decs go up every year.

I would pop some pictures on if I could remember how:joker:

Josy 29-11-2016 07:22 AM

Fire place (it's a tradition to put that decoration u over the Fireplace, it was one Gavs mom used to put when they were Kids and she died when he was 13, so it's a sentimental thing)

Our kitten broke the tree before it could even be decorated, so no tree this year. We don't really bother with any other decorations.

 Eddie drinks the water in the pot for the tree but apart from that he pretty much leaves it alone, thankfully
