I always start the proceedings with a good stiff Sherry as early as I can (be about 1pm this year) then its onto the Chablis all afternoon and then wired into the whisky in the evening.

Cal. 01-12-2016 05:08 PM

Whatever I can get my mits on

Alf 01-12-2016 05:10 PM

Start with a pre lunch aperitif (A vodka martini or three)
I'll probably do a bottle of wine in with my dinner
After dinner, an Irish coffee laced with Jamesons whiskey and a double cognac.

Then a couple of hours kip and then get on the Brown ale on the night.

Crimson Dynamo 01-12-2016 05:10 PM

I love a Vodka Martini with an olive in it

Cherie 01-12-2016 05:29 PM

A sherry around noon, two glasses of wine ( usually white) with dinner, them I'm squiffy, maybe have a glass of wine later on or not depends how I feel

Crimson Dynamo 01-12-2016 05:31 PM

Cherie by teatime

Once I started at midnight and realized that was a mistake not to be made again :worry:

So probably about 8am is an acceptable time this year.

Firewire 01-12-2016 05:50 PM

I don't normally drink at Christmas

MTVN 01-12-2016 09:17 PM

Will have a tipple of prosecco or bucs fizz about 10am then the first real drink will be about midday when we go to the local pub after church

Daniel-X 01-12-2016 09:21 PM

Think my mam said she'll get a bottle of amaretto but I'll probably get lumped with dark fruits or some ****e wine.

Nah just go to see the big man once a year to get away from the family for a bit

Ashley. 01-12-2016 09:35 PM

As you all know I'm not a big drinker, so I like to treat myself to a bottle of wine in the Christmas evening x
