Primark

Who else loves a good browse in Primark? What's your favourite thing to buy there?

I am going tomorrow for the first time in a year and a half, I am perched. I will get new pyjamas and socks! :flutter:

It's fun to get hauls of like joggers because they do alright ones there that are really soft and nice for just chilling in

caprimint 04-12-2016 10:38 PM

Primark is my favourite place :flutter:

They have some really awesome Christmas jumpers this time of the year and general things like socks/bags/scarves/coats are always cool too.

95% of my wardrobe is Primark

Jessica. 04-12-2016 10:41 PM

:amazed: Apparently the one I'm going to is enormous, I hope they have a good variety of things. :flutter:

It's okay for the occassional piece of clothing. Would never step out in a full primark outfit though.

Would you say that's because of how you perceive the brand or it just doesn't cater well to your style?

Because the quality mostly sucks. I'd rather pay more for something that looks nicer and will last longer.

I go there for vests for holiday and pop socks but nothing more.

Love Primark, most of my t-shirts are from there :clap1:

Jessica. 04-12-2016 11:38 PM

I have a frozen t-shirt from 2013 that I got there and it's still going strong. :amazed:

armand.kay 06-12-2016 01:30 AM

not really a fan, theres a few primark tops that I like but I can never find any of the really nice things other people seem to cop from primark.

Best shop in terms of variety and value, have never really had too many problems with the quality of it either.

Only really shop there, New Look, H&M and George @ ASDA lmao

I actually agree with this and I shop these places mostly too besides Primark (occasionally Topshop/Topman and River Island as well).

I had the misfortune to enter this shop on SUnday and what I saw was cheap poorly made crap

armand.kay 06-12-2016 12:31 PM

Think its better value for your money to brows charity shops if you're looking for a big deal. Also there really isn't much of a difference in price with primark when you're a guy.. but like a said before primark has the odd top or tracksuit thats nice but otherwise I can never really find anything decent.

It's nice for the summer. A lot of my T shirts or Shorts are from there. Never bought anything for winter though.

Livia 06-12-2016 01:22 PM

I like Primark. I've got a few expensive suits I wear for work and often wear Primark shirts or tops with them. I also like their joggers.

Also, I'm with Armand (him with the lovely eyes...) on the charity shop thing. There are so many bargains to be had, it's surprising what people donate. I once bought a genuine Louis Vuitton beaded evening bag for £2.99.

oh stop it :blush2:

But yeah I went to one shop where they had one of those kilo sales, you can get a kilo if stuff for like £11. I now have like 20 vintage shirts that would of probably cost me like £30 each had I got them from somewhere like asos.
