It's a hunting dog sent out to kill baby kangaroos. They're like rats to Australian's.

While I wouldn't want the dog hurt it's sent out to kill baby roos so the daddy roo was probably defending something.

That's what i said too, I seriously doubt the Kangaroo just attacked the dog with no provocation and that man is a dickhead imho

I have no sympathy for hunters and very little for hunting dogs...Obviously don't want to see any animal hurt but the kangaroo was most likely just defending itself.

Also the title is misleading, he didn't punch the kangaroo to save the dog, he'd already let go of the dog, the punch was totally unnecessary :nono:
