DONALD TRUMP - TIME Magazine Person of the Year

http://i4.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming...615b/trump.jpg

Announced today, great choice :clap1: Nigel was in the running too.,

“It's a great honor,” the president-elect said on NBC's “Today” show on Wednesday morning. “It means a lot, especially me growing up reading Time magazine. And it's a very important magazine, and I've been lucky enough to be on the cover many times this year — and last year. But I consider this a very, very great honor.”

Will you join me in congratulating Scotsman Donald?

For the people in this thread who clearly dont know the criteria for winning person of the year.

'A person, a group, an idea, or an object that "for better or for worse...has done the most to influence the events of the year".'

Hence why Hilter is a previous winner.

...and yet you say it's something to congratulate him over

(btw, he's slagged off Time on Twitter plenty of times before, not like him praising something as soon as it goes in his favour is at all unlike him)

Of course he won the presidential election against MASSIVE odds and has worked harder in 6 months than you will ever do in your entire life.

I would say that is admirable

If we're handing these things out based on hard work then Trump would be below every nurse, doctor, firefighter, teacher (a profession I know you're such a fan of) etc, so I'd argue that's what he was given this for (hence "it's not an endorsement")

Yes, he's made an impact in 2016, but so has the Zika virus
