An interesting stat
Out of 13 series of The X Factor, on 9 occasions the person who performed the winners single second has won (on 4 occasions Steve, Leon, Matt and Ben performed it first). Out of every series where it has been a man vs a women (including same sex groups) the man has performed first and the women second. The only women to lose to a man including same sex groups were Rebecca Ferguson and Fleur East.
Surely then, and if following on from last night, Matt will sing first and Saara second. If Saara wins she'll be the 10th person who performed last to win, or if it's Matt he'll be the 5th person who performed first. If Saara doesn't win she will join Rebecca and Feur as the only female to not beat a guy. |

Just coincidence, I swear a girl has never one to a guy though?

Sam beat Nicholas Alexandra beat JLS (if 3 guys count) |
Every girl that's won has won to a guy.

Im so excited to see the voting stats though. Imagine how few votes Ryan probably had throughout, the weird curve of Saara votes, whether Matt was killing it for the first half the series and which weeks Matt, Emily, 5am and Saara topped the vote.. I bet theyre all over the place

~Random prediction time~
Out of the first nine, I reckon Matt won four weeks, Saara two, Emily two, 5AM one. Honey G in second place in at least one week |
I just want to see who was actually in the bottom 2 when they had the lifeline vote
