What meat are you having for your christmas dinner?

Lamb :flutter: we got bored of Turkey.

We've had duck / chicken the last few years but think we'll actually get a turkey crown this year.

Daniel-X 15-12-2016 09:38 PM

Ahh yeah we always have a nice ham too. Though it's not really for the dinner, just to pick at like cavemen through the day.

AND SAUSAGE ROLLS!

OMG party sausage rolls. Now I'm really looking forward to Christmas.

Beef & Pork. Turkey is too dry for me, chicken gets boring, I associate duck with chinese food and lamb with indian.

Ashley. 15-12-2016 10:18 PM

We prepare several, and it's usually Turkey, Beef & Pork. I can't be dealing with Duck or Lamb...

I don't even know, I know there'll be cod but I don't really like it and there is always an alternative but it's a surprise I guess. :O

I was a vegetarian from the ages of 15 to 30, then in the last four years I have been 'cheating a bit', by having chicken pies and beef curries.

But the other day, I thought I was buying two veg bakes. I picked them up in a hurry but when I got home I discovered they were SAUSAGE bakes.

The shop was too far away and anyway they wouldn't accept back purchased food, so I tried a bit of the sausage bake and nearly threw up.

I threw the rest of the bake and the other one out for the birds. They polished it off in 30 minutes. :)

So, in summing up, I was gonna have turkey slices on my Christmas dinner plate but now I think I will go for a veggie roast.:smug:
