Woman calls cop to ask for drugs
from www.metro.co.uk
In what appears to be this season's latest hot trend, a woman telephoned a police officer to tell him about the drugs she was planning on buying. Following on from the man who called police to ask them for help breaking into a church, and the man who called police to tell them he was 'hammered' and should be arrested, comes the woman called the police officer from her son's phone – apparently mistakenly believing he was her son's drug dealer. The mistake appears to have been set in motion when 42-year-old Ramona Williams' son was arrested on drug charges previously. Seemingly concerned for her welfare while he was incarcerated, he gave her Lt. Mike Woodruff's mobile number. 'Her son had told her that if she ever needed help with anything to give me a call,' said Lt. Woodruff. 'I think she misunderstood.' As such, when Williams was allegedly looking for some cocaine, she gave Woodruff a call. Playing along, he set up a meeting with an undercover officer – and Williams was duly arrested on Saturday, in Colbert, Oklahoma. She is now facing drug possession and intent to distribute charges. |
What a numb nuts!
