The late Carrie Fisher's mother - iconic Singin' in the Rain star Debbie Reynolds - is reportedly being treated for a possible stroke.

Emergency services personnel were called to the home of Carrie's brother Todd Fisher on Monday (December 28) when their mother Debbie suffered a serious medical emergency, reports TMZ. She has since been rushed to a nearby hospital.

Digital Spy has reached out to the family for clarification on Debbie Reynolds's condition.

This troubling news is developing only 24 hours after Carrie Fisher died of suspected cardiac arrest, leading to tributes from the family and Star Wars fans all over the world.

Fisher passed away four days after suffering a massive heart attack while on board a transatlantic flight. Yesterday, Reynolds remebered her daughter in a stoic and poignant statement.
