Debbie Reynolds dies 1 day after her daughter Carrie Fisher aged 84
 

This is tragic :( RIP

Desperately sad. Not too familiar with her filmography but she seemed a sweetheart on drag race.

This is literally the Celebrity Hunger Games 2016 finale

Watching the News at they are saying her and Carrie had such a strong and close relationship and apparently her son said she wanted to be with Carrie

How awful, that poor family. I couldn't imagine losing two family members so close to each other and on the holidays as well.

Enough is enough, 2016.

So sad that at the time of her initial stroke she was planning Carrie's funeral </3

Billie Lourd losing both her mother and grandmother within the space of a day. </3

This is so awful.

If, and I mean "IF" there's 'something after', I hope they're both together again.

Her son saying she wanted to be with Carrie made me well up just now, what an awfully sad time for the whole family losing two members just a day apart.

From the little I know Debbie was a lovely lady and a lot of the younger actors she starred in movies with have said she was such a down to earth person.

This is heartbreaking :sad:

Poor Billie, losing her mother and grandmother within 24 hours.
Debbie had not been well for a while, Carrie didn't regain consciousness from the initial heart attack,the strain on Debbie must have been awful, watching her daughter knowing she was not going to recover.
R.I.P. Debbie,great actress.

I was introduced to Debbie Reynolds with Halloweentown, absolutely loved her in that as a child.

The stress was too much for her :sad:


On a side note she and Rita from Corrie are very alike

I get the feeling Debbie would have lived another 10 years if it weren't for her daughter's sudden, tragic death.
