On the streets in Adelaide because the Ashes was on and everything was full booked.

4 of us in a car, we went to Blackpool for the lights and couldn't get booked in anywhere.
It whissed it down all night and a fella in a Mac knocked on my window, then flashed me. Only entertainment we had to soften the aches and pains:joker:

In a bus in the middle of France

In a tent, in the snow..next to a river. Woke up with the river overflowing and icicles in my hair. Never again. Stupid stupid idea.

I literally enter these threads purely for Vicky's replies. :flutter:

I would say "at a bus stop" but that actually wasn't that bad... sleeping on some pebbly beach was actually the worst. I ended up sleeping in loads of weird places between 14 and 18 though... under a bridge, in a Corsa with 5 other people, in a shed, at my front door...

On a stone floor

On a beer stained Uni kitchen/living area floor

I hate sleeping anywhere thats not my own bed but the worst for me will have to be when I went camping last year and had to share a tent for 6 with 12 people because the girls tent got flooded and they all ran into ours... it was sweaty, there was hardly any room, the floor etc

I can not remember the name but it was a dive and not only did I pay once - the scank stole my wallet as well. so I ended up paying twice and getting no goodies. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/i...N4jveC2VVcu8EA

At a bus stop just cause I was extremely drunk.

A hostel called The Generator in London when I went with uni to a design conference. It was horrific but I've heard it's been all done over now and is great.

OH also another hostel in Kilburn, London when I was exhibiting in Islington in 2015. Literally in the basement with stains up the walls and dirty bedding, public footpath next to the window with drunks and allsorts going by all hours of the night and this was during a heatwave in July (it was almost 38 degrees one day!!) and I couldn't open the window because it was locked.

Awful.

A barrister I used to work with invited to use his country house in Norfolk for a weekend. It all looked very grand but was overrun with mice. When we went to make up the bed there were mouse droppings in it. We decided to try and sleep downstairs with me on a chaise long and Steve in an armchair that needed re-stuffing, proved to be a very uncomfortable night for both of us.
