Do you get offended if someone deletes you on Facebook?

Some people I know get pure angry if they get deleted and want to know why, whilst other people I knew couldn't care less.

How do you feel?

LaLaLand 30-12-2016 01:26 AM

Depends who it is I guess.

This. If it was an actual friend or family member I'd be wondering why.

If it was someone I only knew through FaceBook I wouldn't be arsed.

Withano 30-12-2016 01:32 AM

One time somebody deleted me but they had like 1000+ other friends, and, not to sound sensitive(!), but that wasnt nice to see.. If they delete me and they have like 100 or 200 odd friends then I dont really care, they probably wouldnt make my top 200 either and its fair enough that they would just rather have a close circle of friends on their timeline. Either way, I get over it pretty fast.

Also, fun game for the thrill-seekers. Check your friend count before you upload a controversial status and then recheck the count the day after.

Alsoalso, I delete many who excessively use the Facebook live feature.. Checking your mate-count before and after them could be revealing.

It draws a line in the sand in places tbh

Only when it's someone I don't like and would've deleted already if I could be bothered deleting people on social medias. I don't like not having the final say :joker:

If it's someone irrel who added me idrc

Shaun 30-12-2016 01:55 AM

Not really because I'm usually the one to delete over trivial things. I've deleted people for spoiling movies before

Babayaro. 30-12-2016 09:27 AM

I never notice/check if someone has unfriended me, nor do I ever unfriend anyone else.

Nicky91 30-12-2016 09:30 AM

when i was on Facebook i didn't care about that :hehe:, and now i don't even care about Facebook anymore :joker:

armand.kay 30-12-2016 09:37 AM

The real question is would I notice? and the answer to that is no.

waterhog 30-12-2016 09:48 AM

I would not be offended I would be delighted if someone deleted facebook.

Vanessa 30-12-2016 09:58 AM

Not really, there are worse things in life

Steady on Nigel

Niamh. 30-12-2016 04:48 PM

Nah I probably don't even notice

y.winter 30-12-2016 05:08 PM

Considering it became (mostly, not everyone) the #1 place to empower the self-absorbed - no, I didn't care while I was there and from the other side it looks even more ridiculous tbh.
I guess that's something that one mostly cares about when you're a teenager, after that one understands that it's all nonsense.

Deirdre 30-12-2016 05:46 PM

There's a feature to just unfollow somebody which is what I always do, I would be surprised if someone got rid of me considering there's another feature

_Tom_ 30-12-2016 10:26 PM

I can't imagine still actively using Facebook in 2016

Firewire 30-12-2016 10:26 PM

Yes omg someone from uni deleted me and idk why

LaLaLand 30-12-2016 10:28 PM

I think I get most like not offended but shocked when people delete you that you've grown up with even though you don't speak anymore yano? Like people you went through school with from nursery for all those years. Although we aren't like best mates it's good to see what everyone's up to and exchange the odd "like" and what not.

Jason. 30-12-2016 10:30 PM

I don't blame them, I haven't been online since 2012.

Gusto Brunt 31-12-2016 08:10 AM

I never get offended if anyone deletes me or unfriends me.

Or doesn't want to know me anywhere. :)

My late mum always said, 'if somebody doesn't like you, that's their problem. Also, their loss.':hee::hee:

And also, would you really want to know someone who doesn't like you???

I wouldn't.
