Nicola McLean has revealed that she signed up for the Celebrity Big Brother house in the hopes of getting a Loose Women job... though she's also up for a very different version with Katie Price.

The 35-year-old model returned to the house this week, and beforehand claimed that she had been "overlooked" for a spot on the ITV chat show.

"Loose Women would be my ideal job but for some reason I get overlooked, but that's my ideal job in the whole world," she told The Sun.

"I'd be a strong, younger female for them and there's nothing I can't talk about; I've had such an array of things happening in my personal life. I think it would be great for me to go on there, but I can't see it happening, I won't count my chickens!

"Hopefully they'll let me on after Celebrity Big Brother."

So what's her back-up plan?

"They need to do a late night version of Loose Women with me and Katie Price," Nicola continued. "I'm up for doing a late one.

Despite previous spats with her "idol" Katie, Nicola insists they're "absolutely fine now".

"I'm gutted she's not in the house, I love Katie Price," she added. "I've always said it from day one, Katie's my idol.

"She decided to slag me off and it made it nasty between us, which is a real shame and I wish it never happened.

"She's our best glamour model. I think she's fabulous. She's a bloody icon."

Ugh I really dislike Nicola, up Katie Prices arse because she thinks it'll give her a leg up the ladder

I did want KP to win last time round but only because she was the only one who could stop the evil katie from winning but as a HM she was boring
