“At the end of the day, if you went in there and two days later they said ‘we don’t want to make your cakes because of our beliefs’, you’d just never go back to that shop and you’d probably say to all your gay friends, ‘don’t go there, they’re anti-gay,’ and boycott it,” she said.

“What about if somebody walked in and said I want a cake and I want the whole Islamic State on it and how I support it and how I support them killing our people. Because it’s a business do they have to make it? And if they turn around and say they’re not making it, we’d all applaud it.”

These people are defo keeping the gaydar crew busy. Why cant we all just accept some people are dicks and their views are somewhat stupid instead of making issues of it all the bloody time. Older people have their own views which in the past were considered views, these days those same views are borderline asignate. Some people were not privvy to a PC education but dont worry we are dying out

People have fought for years to not be different yet people are unwilling to accept out of spite and bitterness.

welp at her views on adoption.... While I kind of get her views on the cake shop drama comparing the gays to isis is just ridiculous.

I'm a big LW fan and remember hearing about this story. It doesn't sound like something Coleen would say so it was probably taken out of context a lot, however, it would be great if someone found the episode of exactly what she said

I believe in everybody being treated equally no matter the gender, sexuality or age.

I think this is my view on this, the comparison was a ****ing idiotic comparison, I got her point but not why she thought to include that?

It's sort of a popularity contest, bringing up past quotes seems like fair game. If PC brigade are offended then they won't get their vote, if hyper-religious people agree, she might win some votes. It's all fair to me.
