Welcome to my battles

First up is truly vs Millicent

I have chosen I drove all night by cyndi Lauder for them

Truly: you really remind me of Florence and the machine I love your sound but we need to think how to make a clear distinction and make you stand out I think this sounded brilliant

Millicent: your sound is pretty unique and I love your quirkyness

I want to take you both through but I have chosen to take truly through as I see her lasting longer and I think I have an idea of how I could mentor you in the right direction so through to my knockouts is...

Next is Lia vs Israel

Their song is Jessie j laser light

Israel: this sounded really good for you it's less gospel and more up to date and you put a lot of passion in to it

Lia: you seem to be holding back a little bit I need you to really fight for your place because you have talent and could work in today's music world

For this reason I have made my decision and it's a difficult one but I want Lia to go through to knockouts

Next up is Michelle vs Keziah

Their song is Adele when we were young

Michelle: I can see how much you want this and you have experience

Keziah: your young and seem very new to this but you are unique

I think Keziah will be more interesting to work with so I'm choosing her

Next is Sarah vs Lucy singing Ellie Goulding how long will I love you

You are both so similar and it was really emotional but the act that I felt the most touched by was Sarah and I have to take her through

Next up is Stacey vs Tanya

Their song is family portrait by pink

Stacey: you are very talented also versatile but for me something is lacking

Tanya: you are a superstar but I think you could give it even more

I'd love to mentor both of you but tanya is the act that excites me the most so she is going through

Finally it's nadine vs Tim

Their song is ed sheeran castle on the hill

For me their was a clear winner in this battle, nadine I hope you have a successful future but Tim I think you may actually win this whole competition so going through is Tim
