StreetMate is Back! But Davina is dropped for Scarlett Moffatt

Channel 4 has listened to your #BringBackStreetmate campaign and we couldn't be more excited.
The I'm a Celebrity queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt has been lined up to host a revival of the classic dating show, originally hosted by Davina McCall from 1998 to 2001.
"I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking, 'Females can present entertainment shows too. I want to do that when I'm older.'," Scarlett enthused.
The new daytime series will see her scour the streets to find a date for shy and retiring singletons in towns and cities across the UK.
Streetmate was brought back on ITV2 in 2007 with This Morning's Holly Willoughby hosting and, most recently, came back for a Stand Up To Cancer one-off special.
That special saw Davina take to the streets of London to hunt for a man for cancer survivor Sophie, leading to the two's blind date taking place in a First Dates pop-up with silky smooth maître d' Fred Sirieix.
