Ratings have been poor for a winter CBB
 

Below are some of the examples of what it's been getting. Winter CBB normally get around 2/3 million viewers but it doesn't really get past 2 million. this is quite shocking (this season is being paid dust)

So many people publicly rage quitted after Bear winning, they were probably being serious!

Many people dont watch live anymore unless its a major thing

But also, I dont care for ratings much, but isnt a year on year decrease normal for every channel and every show? People just prefer Netflix, Amazon and YouTube nowadays right? Ratings everywhere are just lower in general, the numbers arent there anymore, right?

airing two seasons a year (plus civ season) was always going to speed up its inevitable decline... boredom / lack of interest / lack of celebs to choose from.

two years ago we had katie hopkins, perez hilton, katie price, michelle visage... not that they're a listers but they're very famous names among the type of celebrities that go on shows like this. the names are getting more and more obscure with each season.

people are saying there haven't been much updates as well so I guess that plays a part in them losing viewers.

pretty much, it's probably why we have all-stars this season.

an all star cast of pointless wouldn't even be able to name some of the all star celebs that have gone in this season :oh:

Meh, I'm past caring about ratings as they're never going to be as high as they were ten years ago. As long as it's a good series I'm happy.

Speidi have scared people away. They dont want to see the manufactured drama, its fake and only appeals to a small audience.

There isn't a lack of celebs to choose from it frustrates me so much when people say they've run out of celebs :joker: I can think of literally dozens of celebs that are typical CBB housemates.

In all seriousness I don't think the ratings are that great, but they're not DISATROUS as the tweet claims. Pretty sure it was up against Sherlock last night which is one of the biggest shows in the UK, also we don't know the +1 figures or the catch-up figures either. And cbb still gets like triple the ratings of most other channel 5 shows.

Disagree, the fact that they have 2 series a year means they're inevitably going to have to ask less well known people, which makes it less appealing for bigger celebs to take part

Lots of people said Bear winning was the final straw and I think they followed through with the threats.

One of my mums friends said she wouldn't watch after Bear won and she hasn't watched this year :worry:

its just so unwatchable these days imo
