DNI Clapper Statement on conversations with President-elect Trump. https://www.dni.gov/index.php/newsro...nt-elect-trump

DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE
WASHINGTON, DC 20511
January 11, 2017
DNI Clapper Statement on Conversation with President-elect Trump
This evening, I had the opportunity to speak with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss recent media reports about our briefing last Friday. I expressed my profound dismay at the leaks that have been appearing in the press, and we both agreed that they are extremely corrosive and damaging to our national security.
We also discussed the private security company document, which was widely circulated in recent months among the media, members of Congress and Congressional staff even before the IC became aware of it. I emphasized that this document is not a U.S. Intelligence Community product and that I do not believe the leaks came from within the IC. The IC has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable, and we did not rely upon it in any way for our conclusions. However, part of our obligation is to ensure that policymakers are provided with the fullest possible picture of any matters that might affect national security.
President-elect Trump again affirmed his appreciation for all the men and women serving in the Intelligence Community, and I assured him that the IC stands ready to serve his Administration and the American people.
James R. Clapper, Director of National Intelligence

Here is a good review of this whole debacle

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner...all-disturbing

The real bit that should have people worrying

The Guardian has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. According to one report, the FBI was finally granted a warrant in October, but that has not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether any warrant led to a full investigation.

Though that was reported by heatstreet the night of the before the election. So the Guardian and everyone else is coming late to the party on this one.

Now considering the level of harassment that journalist critical of Trump have experienced so far, his concerns are not entirely with out merit.

It was my year of guards and guns — you know, thanks to Trump. I was under security threat for most of the nine months he was really coming after me. I had strange people showing up at my house. I had strange people casing my house.

Golden Shower Gate Latest: Russia Has Audio, video of Donald Trump’s Alleged Acts?

Raw Story, citing a BBC Washington correspondent Paul Wood, reported the British officer is not the only source for the potentially damning information and that Russia could possess multiple sex tapes of Trump.

“The rumors or the allegations or whatever you want to call them have been circulating for a number of months now,” Wood said in a BBC 4 radio broadcast Wednesday. “I saw the report, compiled by the former British intelligence officer, back in October. He is not, and this is the crucial thing, the only source for this.”

Wood elaborated, saying at least one Eastern European intelligence service was “aware” of the material Russia may have on Trump and that includes both audio and video and of more than one alleged incident.

Wood admitted intelligence officers can be wrong, but that the Central Intelligence Agency claimed the dossier is “credible.”

But it is viewed as credible by the CIA and that’s why it landed on President Obama’s desk last week, on the desk of the congressional leadership and was given to Mr. Trump as well. And even congressional Republicans are talking about investigations and Democrats, I know, are talking about impeachment.”

RUSSIA/US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: FURTHER INDICATIONS OF
EXTENSIVE CONSPIRACY BETWEEN TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN TEAM AND THE
KREMLIN http://denver.craigslist.org/pol/5955155213.html

https://www.documentcloud.org/docume...legations.html

First, if authentic, this document would really confirm that the Russian government was behind the leak of Hillary's emails - and also that Trump's campaign was actively involved. It also shows that the actual hacking was a fairly minor part of the operation; it was basically a standard intelligence operation.

There are a number of other interesting tidbits in this document:

The operation has been going on for at least 8 years, and Trump was actively involved.

It appears that from Putin's perspective, that whole operation was a disappointment (although a different section of the document claims that he was "generally satisfied"). While Trump was eventually elected, apparently Putin had expected a far more dramatic impact on the election.

The operation also was a disappointment because the backlash that is now erupting is hurting Russia and Putin personally.

Putin seems to be experiencing buyer's remorse. It seems that Trump turned out not to be the benefit Putin had hoped for, because Trump is too unpredictable.

Heads have started rolling in Moscow over the failure of the operation.

The sex party issue is a bit yawn worthy but some of the financial issues could be serious blackmail material. It seems that there were severe campaign finance violations and money laundering involved. Those issues may well be grounds for impeachment and arrest.

Of course, all of this is based on a single document that hasn't been authenticated yet.

Has anyone noticed that when anything goes wrong there's always a private company running the show?....

This is the problem we now face when people who are not trained journalists run "news sites"

SO the twats at buzzfeed do not investigate they just publish

Its like me making a thread all about how Dezzy was busted for dogging and giving full details of the arrest etc and at the very end saying - I dont know if this is all true but I wanted Tibb to know all the details and make their own minds up

:umm2:

Kizzy 12-01-2017 11:24 AM

And Buzzfeed had the gall to accuse the Canary of being a fake news site :idc:
