I had it pre-ordered until this morning, I'm not going to bother with it now.

Stupid price and there's basically no games at launch beyond Zelda. I don't know why they are bothering to launch this early with such a weak lineup. They should have waited until at least Splatoon 2 was ready.

1,2 Switch is basically showing that they haven't learned anything from the fall of the Wii and the Wii U being dead on arrival.

How does the price compare to other console launch prices? I think it looks like a great product but I don't really know whether it's good value or not.

xbone was £420 (blaze it)

Man, Zelda and Mario look really good, but Nintendo are ****ing up yet again, they insist on making their consoles gimmicky. Why can't they just make a simple old fashioned console?

One good game doesn't make the lack of launch titles any less of a problem.

It's the same price as a normal PS4 and more expensive than a normal X1.

I was only tempted to get one in the first place because of Zelda :laugh:

The switch looks amazing but I am dissapointed in the launch titles so far. It should have been moved to before christmas so it may sell better and not flop like the Wii U

Yeah I Agree. The Mario game trailer didn't grab me, I don't like the Zelda shading. Mario Kart looks the same as it always does.

I'll definitely play some when it comes out, but won't be pre ordering.

two bee honest they need to rerelease all of the major wii u games on the switch (bayonetta, 3D world, smash bros, pikmin) pls

That price is going to kill it before it gets off the ground.

That and the fact that 1-2 Switch, one of their main launch titles, is basically a £40 phone app.

Honestly, at the this point, I'd rather Nintendo did what Sega did and moved into just making games.

Also just heard that to chat during online games... you will have to use a smartphone app... what?

Nintendo will also have a 'free game a month' thing for their online service, but for them its more along the lines of 'SNES/NES game only for a month' as in, you get a SNES game and can only play that one month.

I mean it's only the price putting me off so far and I'm stupid enough to spend that so whatever.

The launch line up is a tad disappointing but then I missed out on the full first year of PS4 and didn't even go back to get any of the launch year games so I don't feel too bad.

I'd get all of Splatoon, Mario, Zelda, Bomberman and ARMS this year.

Tbh at first I was disappointed but now I'm really excited.

The new Zelda game looks amazing, Super Mario Odyssey looks incredible (the humans threw me off at first, but this will just be one of the "worlds")
I also have interest in Skyrim, No more Heroes Switch, Fire Emblem Warriors, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Splatoon 2, and the new Square Enix RPG for Switch. Not to mention Pokemon Stars if that rumour is true.

For those of you without a Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Rayman LEgends and Lego City Undercover definitive editions will all be amazing. As for the new IPs 1,2 Switch looks horrendous (could surprise us though) but ARMS has me intrigued (we'll see)
