"I'm the coolest ****ing person in this gaff"

Oh THERE you are Calum Best. Where have you been hiding for weeks? Cocky, aggressive, egotistical, entitled little sh*t.

Northern Monkey 29-01-2017 09:21 AM

He was pissed as a fart but they say the truth comes out when you've had a drink

sampvt 29-01-2017 09:22 AM

self flagellation never won fair maiden. The man has invented a persona he cant live up to and its now beginning to show the cracks.

Northern Monkey 29-01-2017 09:24 AM

I think having a name like Best all his life has gone to his head

Cherie 29-01-2017 09:24 AM

His melt down was glorious, you gotta take it on the chin boys was his advice, one nomination and he folded :joker:

joeysteele 29-01-2017 09:25 AM

Had he not been nominated and then been up for this eviction he would have likely sat back saying very little.
He jumped to side with Nicola to get at Jedward, only because they'd dared to nominate him.

That's who he was from the minute he came on the "scene", though. That's the image he's been banging on about having "changed" from and wanting to preserve his new image of this "good guy gentleman" (note to Calum: Good Guys don't feel the need to constantly tell everyone that that's what they are).

But as soon as someone suggests that he's anything other than great and he's got a drink in him he reverts back to the "old Calum Best"? Nah. It's just who he is.

sampvt 29-01-2017 09:30 AM

Watching the way he guzzled that wine last night leads me to believe the true Callum is following in his dads footsteps. He is in and out of rehab all the time and its easy to see why. His ego is way bigger than his own perception of his perceived value of worth. All he is a legacy of a drunken romp in the hay and since then he has ridden on the back of it.

True. He has quite obviously low self-esteem that he's covering up with bluster and a history of not being able to control himself. His entire sense of self worth is based around his (supposed) looks and charm... The man has hair plugs Ffs... So what happens to him when he's 50 with a pot belly? He'll hit the bottle hard, most likely.

You know I was quite shocked at how he was throwing it back. I've not seen that side of him before and he was throwing those glasses of wine down his throat like water.

Being nominated and hearing some home truths really rattled him. Now take it on the chin Calum. Write it on your little book on how to improve yourself.

user104658 29-01-2017 09:53 AM

Oh plus... if Jamie had an ounce of insight in that melon... He would understand what Calum was saying to him at the table when he turned on him a bit. The message was "I'm number one, you're number two, and don't you ****ing forget it."

Luckily for Calum, Jamie is fick and will have no idea that Calum sees him as a sidekick.

I'm quite enjoying his meltdown if I'm honest

I'd seen this side with how he reacted to certain things Jessica had said over the weeks, but it wasn't until yesterday we saw the true him. It's scary how people can act so aware/fake towards the cameras, I should have picked up on it when he said he refused to drink in the house, as he clearly had something to hide. Glad Jedward are able to expose people, I think they have a great chance of winning

I think Jame got it, and was needling him a bit with the chill out bruv comments which were obviously getting under Calum's skin

There was a glimpse of it as well when Chloe threw the sausage at him. I mean being irritated was fair enough, it's greasy and could stain / ruin clothes... But its not the fact that he reacted, it's the look he gave her :umm2:

Suze 29-01-2017 10:18 AM

If someone has truely changed for the better, then it should be obvious so he would have no need to bang on about it. He hasn't changed, maybe he wants to, but there is no evidence of it. And where does he get the 'Coolest one in there' from :conf: :D

He also slipped when he failed to toast Jessica given she only left about half an hour before lol

He seems to think that you can just state your intention, and then that's it done.

Withano 29-01-2017 10:23 AM

Completely insufferable

Epic. 29-01-2017 10:42 AM

That meltdown is probably the best Calum Best moment ever next to the time he yelled at a Perez eating pasta that he's a ****

chuff me dizzy 29-01-2017 10:45 AM
