Just realised that James C is a cowardly lion?

He's never stepped into anything and to be honest I have been totally fine with that. It's a perfectly acceptable stance to say "not my business so they can sort it out themselves". There's a strange sort of respect in that, even, trusting people to be able to handle their own situations without the need for intervention...

...except that he was straight up to step in when it was skinny little John. So that philosophy goes out of the window. It's not just that he wants to be Switzerland and stay out of other people's arguments... it's that he'll only do it when it's all-against-one and that one happens to be a skinny, slightly effeminate 25 year old kid. :clap1: James C.

It's like invasion of the body snatchers. He is one of the gang now.
It's a shame as with his pass to the final he could have been more of an individual. I just can't understand how his patience wears thin over Jedward yet he is okay with nasty Nicola & watching the most cringe showmance in BB history with two dull idiots like Jamie & Bianca :fist:

Exactly, I was fine with it if he was just "sitting out" observing the situation, shaking his head and thinking "What a trainwreck this place is!". Makes for a boring housemate, yeah, but... they chose to pay him, so he could hardly be blamed for taking the money and just trying to endure it. He's put a dent in that idea now though by "stepping up" at a time when it was LEAST needed... when even if there had been something going on, there were already 4 or 5 other people circling round.

... ... ... just another ganghanded after all

I agree and James C was my favourite at the very start. I have even argued with Coleen fans saying she shouldn't expect him to stand up for her but I realise now it was because it was Speidi and he was scared.
He is totally one of the gang and has been a total waste of money as a HM. Smoking bench sidekick in a grey cardi.

So stupid how he stepped up to John and not Kim.

He would have been ripped apart by Kim. He looked such a coward going after John.
He has left Game Of Thrones to play Games Of Clones.....

I think he lost a lot of support stepping in then when it was completely unnecessary when he watched Kim and Jamie almost come to blows without even standing up

I've watched the clip again twice. John walks to her to continue what he wants to say. He doesn't bound over from one room to another with a red angry face. She changes her normal vocal approach with Jedward and mentions the word intimidation. Then he and Calum go into white knight mode. Where was this when Jamie went on the assault with Kim? Then to add more hypocrisy I see the clique later in the garden as JAMIE, who is at next to Kim has the audacity to discuss the faults of John being in a woman's face. (didn't see John get that close but as per usual it's molehills created into mountains for Jedward but mountains to molehills for the clique). Farah must be bemused at the ease with which Nicola can call out intimidation given that BBBOTS altercation. But I suppose when Nicola's still part of the game in the house, she is happy to play damsel in distress. Lost respect for James C.

One argument he was directly in front of and the other he was not even in the room at the time, it's not even relatable scenarios.

I'm about to defend James, even though I haven't yet seen the episode in question. Many of us agree that Nicola is a manipulator. She seems able to make people see her as she wants to appear, rather than as she really is.
My argument is that James is of the old school, where men defended women. Now it could be said that he didn't defend Kim, because she could (and did) take care of things herself. As for Jedward. Even though they don't appeal to me, I don't like to see them being picked on, but please ask yourself, wouldn't you snap if you had to live with them? I know I would. Maybe they have pushed James too far? How would we know when we see 40 measly minutes of exactly what BB wants us to see.

I love James but I did think he was in the wrong yesterday. That being said he has every right to voice his opinion like he did, or sit back as he has other times. As to why he's stepped forward yesterday and not in the past it's just speculation, but I doubt it's because he thought he could 'take on' John as apposed to someone bigger... he wasn't trying to take on or be threatening to anyone, he was merely voicing his opinion

And this is probably true also
