Recipe for the win is ??????

This is a dead simple recipe. All you need is 3 things.

1. Get involved in a major controversy that divides people and forces them to take sides.

2. Get as much camera time you can, so the edits are all about you and the others loose storylines.

3. Solicit a sympathy vote which leans heavily on either PC lines or the Bullying angle. Everyone loves an underdog and even better if they mirror image your own struggles in life, like former bullying or being treated like an outcast or social misfit.

Once you get these factors right, the crown is yours, oh and i forgot, its always good to pick out a housemate that you know the public hate (nicola) and go to war with them for effect. Everyone that hates that HM will then love you for crucifying her whether or not that crucifixion is right or wrong.

or you can just have millions of fans supporting your terrible childish act - hi deadwood fans.

I'm no sure, lots of HM's have been seen as victims/bullied etc and haven't gone on to win, and lots of winners have had none of those things you mentioned... so I don't know if it's as simple as that.

If you cannot win on merit and entertainment the "Pity vote" is the best route for you, its worked before for Shilpa and Busey ,and will work again this year for Jedward

Are you kidding me, Bear was bullied by nearly every HM for his actions. He was ostracised and treated like a criminal. He won because he had fun loving people behind him and against the rest of the nasty HM.s

Making tea is not a real days work

Jamie89 30-01-2017 08:49 AM

I don't view Jedward as victims at all, so if I vote for them to win it won't be a pity vote. They're probably the strongest people in there emotionally and able to stand up for themselves, they handle conflicts really well. I think Nicola on the other hand has tried to play the victim, so I guess that would mean that she's trying to win on the pity vote too?

I dont think theres any recipe. Most winners are completely uncomparable with others. I think the things you mentioned have worked for some winners, but also theyve worked negatively for many losers..

rusticgal 30-01-2017 12:40 PM

Jedward are socially inept. They cannot seem to hold an adult conversation with anyone unless they are discussing another housemate and bitching.
They are not stupid.
They have each other for company..they don't need anyone else and that plays to their advantage. Their game plan was to segregate themselves....but make it look like they were being pushed out and bullied. They know their antics wind people up..it was an easy game for them to play.

Jedward will win purely on entertainment and because they are naturally funny boys, and nothing else.

Nicky91 30-01-2017 01:34 PM
