Define "snowflake"

For fun. Do it. Go!

A derogatory insult used to belittle someone

It can only mean someone who has an opinion but hasnt the conviction to stand by that opinion...like a snowflake lands but eventually melts away

_Tom_ 12-02-2017 02:03 PM

Black Dagger 12-02-2017 02:16 PM

A word used to insult liberals by the right wing, despite being the biggest snowflakes of all :)

In a word, mesmerising.

Crimson Dynamo 12-02-2017 02:27 PM

People who think that because they are offended they are right and who often feel offended on behalf of others whether they want them to or not.

Withano 12-02-2017 02:35 PM

I think its just overly sensitive to me. Not being able to handle criticism of something you enjoy, Trump or Farage threads usually bring out snowflakishness in some people.

On TiBB, I'd say its most common when people make threads in the debate section but then not be able to handle the opposing side to the debate they started.

I wouldnt use it as an insult personally, more of an adjective to describe an overly sensitive reaction

Livia 12-02-2017 02:54 PM

It's just one of the many words that has no place in a serious, adult debate unless you're actually talking about snow.

A generation of people who put feelings before facts. People that use victimhood as a currency.

Here's the Wiki page.
