i hope she'll do a Dana International flop, at the semi final :hehe:

Amy Jade 25-02-2017 04:50 PM

Is she doing Eurovision again?

I don't mind the song but it's not a patch of Euphoria

not confirmed, but she's doing heat 4 of melodifestivalen tonight :)

I actually like this song. I think that Loreen will do really well in the 4th Semi-Final of Melfest tonight.

Ace Wilder remains unbothered

as do Mariette and Robin tbh

Braden 25-02-2017 06:48 PM

I haven't listened to the song, but I don't get why Swedish winners can't just accept and bask in their initial victory?

Like, Loreen, Charlotte Perrelli, Carola, etc. have all won but participate in Melodifestivalen year after year (well, maybe not Loreen but w/e). Even Helena (forgot her surname)- winner of 2005 Eurovision- wanted to represent Sweden, and i just think...why? Let someone else have a shot :p

There is a 4 year ban after you win it though

Babayaro. 25-02-2017 07:00 PM

Bit unfair and stupid that a winner can represent again

Is there? I didn't know that.

So they basically apply every time they possibly can then? I suppose the platform is perfect to maintain the career though.

Yes for Melfest i was talking about.

I am not sure but i think there is an set number of years without success you can also do.

Melfest is the biggest thing for musicians in Sweden so it is understandable that ex winners go back to it.

T* 25-02-2017 07:40 PM

Yeah you can only do it 2 years in a row too, then you have to take a break

It is possible as Robin Stjernberg had to go through 2nd chance when he won in 2013

Joelle. 25-02-2017 10:47 PM

Not sure on first listen but love it now
