Reaching. That's just "Voic". You can't just go picking letters wherever you want!

Also on the thread topic; it's not clever it's cheap and exploitative. I have nothing else to say on this one.

It's very close and close enough.

It's a constant reminder of how aggressive and violent many of these young men are. The products of their previous environments perhaps but well ingrained thought processes that may be hard, if not impossible, to change.

I don't think any of us have a right to effectively use our young women as Guinea pigs to discover whether or not it is safe to allow these young men free reign in the West. How many deaths/rapes/sexual assaults would it take for people to express concerns, or as long as it wasn't on their doorstep would they continue to remain on their high horses.

A young woman working in a refugee camp for so-called child refugees in Sweden, who are having Hugh problems with Muslim immigration now and reversed their previous tolerant views, was stabbed to death by a 15 year old child migrant.

I wonder how many on here, if being honest with themselves, who had a camp of refugees in their town would be unconcerned about their young daughters' whereabouts.

EVERYWHERE and ESCALATION would be two appropriate examples of fitting in the E.

I'm sure there are a lot more.

Exaggeration, and then the immigrants themselves can use the "clever" acronym :idc:

Trump's scores with 'common ground' speech and a can-do view of government :clap1:

http://a57.foxnews.com/images.foxnew....jpg?ve=1&tl=1

Donald Trump, the most unconventional president of our lifetimes, did a very conventional thing tonight, delivering a message of unity in a soft voice to a joint session of Congress.

This was a speech about what government can accomplish, not a Reaganesque “government is the problem” appeal.

It was a more uplifting speech than his inaugural address, with several appeals for bipartisanship and some lines that could have been delivered by a Democrat. While Trump is not a great orator, he spoke for an hour with confidence and a polish for one who didn’t spend years delivering political speeches.

And this is not the kind of language we are accustomed to hearing from Donald Trump, who on Jan. 20 spoke of American “carnage”:

“We are one people, with one destiny. We all bleed the same blood. We all salute the same flag. And we are all made by the same God.”

It almost sounded like a reset, at least atmospherically.

The 45th president signaled that this was a different kind of speech by beginning with Black History Month and a denunciation of anti-Semitic incidents. He hit his major themes—cutting regulations, reducing crime, building a wall, lowering taxes, creating jobs—but without the harsh partisan edge. And while Democrats, who mostly sat on their hands, disagree with much of his agenda, Trump was trying to reassure the audience that things are heading in the right direction.

so today you are their champion?

Livia 01-03-2017 11:29 AM

Yeah, why would they want us to know that people have been murdered by migrants? That should be kept quiet, right? We don't have the right to know that.

I'd say the concern is more to do with the fact that he's demonising all immigrants by highlighting the criminals, it's clear as day what he is trying to do. He's sending out a message of 'Immigrants shouldn't be trusted, they are the enemy'.

It's not so much the fact that he wants to highlight the victims of murders that's a problem, it's the fact that he is using it pushing an agenda that paints immigrants in terrible broad strokes.

It's meaningless out of context, that's the problem.

The fact that "people have been murdered by immigrants" is a statistical certainty. It only becomes statistically significant if a disproportionate number of people have been murdered by immigrants than by native citizens.

He might as well have lined up a group of people who were murdered by "people with names that begin with the letter A!" and asked people to reconsider their baby name choices to avoid the murder letter.

No he is not doing that, you and the left are merely misrepresenting his words in a totally disingenuous , dishonest way. VOICE march for that, justice for those families destroyed by terrorists.

I think i'ts more complicated than that as these young men have been exposed and subjected to high levels of violence all their lives - some of that is bound to rub off on them and changing thought processes like that once they have reached adulthood is likely impossible. Their negative attitudes towards women are too ingrained, like a reflex action.

We don't have the funding in this country to provide the mental health support to deal with that so we will end up with these 'damaged ' young men who view young women as second-class citizens there for the taking walking our streets.

Two previously tolerant countries - Germany and Sweden have had enough. France, who along with Germany, have the largest number of these migrants clearly don't want them either. There are reasons for that, are we really going to pull the shutters down and cover our ears and ignore the giant-sized warning signs. God forbid.

Let's all just pretend it is just a tiny minority of problem people and continue to believe we do not have totally different belief systems and believe in fairy tales that we will all live happily ever after together. The evidence clearly shows that is not the case.

blah blah left blah blah blah. Same old boring bull****, get a new catchphrase please.

Pray tell, what is the point in highlighting crimes committed by immigrants in Congress if it's not meant to be an anti-immigration tactic to paint all immigrants as dangerous?
It's incredibly naive to think that there's no subtext to what he is saying, very naive.

Exclusive — White House Social Media Team: ‘Not Surprised’ President Trump Shattered Social Media Records in Joint Session Speech

On Twitter, for instance, a whopping three million people Tweeted about President Trump’s address—a record that even former President Barack Obama’s team could not hit. The previous record, under Obama, was 2.6 million Tweets, according to Twitter per an Associated Press report. Facebook had millions of people engaged as well, a spokesman told Breitbart News. “7.5 million people on Facebook generated 20.5 million likes, posts, comments and shares about President Trump’s address to Congress,” Facebook’s Andy Stone said in an email.

It’s worth noting too that these record-high performances during Trump’s speech come with just a four-person social media team in the White House, much smaller than former President Obama’s 18-person team.
