The premiere was decent

Becca & Floyd :love: I like Vanick and Ashton and the All Female team too. I liked the Asians, sad to see them eliminated first (but lol @ the only all ethnic team getting booted first, you can't make this up :joker:)

It was okay, I feel the editing was all over the place, they had so much to pack into 42 mins, it really should have been a longer episode.

I dont have a favourites yet, I am interested in the Vanck and Ashton team as they are so different, it has potential to be a trainwreck, I can see her all ready getting the super bitch edit and Hayley 2.0

Never did mind the twist. Self navigation is always needed so hope that sets a trend for the season. The cast might be ok, early to say, though it's mainly the usual photogenic types.

But it was just a detour and that was it.

And an express pass just given randomly, not even earned? What?!

And a team gets penalised TWO hours because it's dark, that decided things right there. Normally I'm sure that kind of thing is more half an hour to one hour. I'm not sure how many canoe races two hours represented but it must have been more than they would have had to do.

Team 'fun' look very forced and gimmicky. Preferred the last placed team that were forced to take the penalty.

I thought it was a great show
I was a bit worried cos I didnt like the blinddates series, but this was good imo.

Team Fun now revealed as team angry. Also the u-turn before the detour (decided by taxis) screwed over a competent team who finished the easier side of the detour very quickly but stumbled over the more difficult one (which most of them avoided doing).

I stopped watching this season after episode 2. It really annoyed me and seemed really unfair.

The female team were 'rewarded' for both not being able to pick their partner which is what 'Phil' said. Their reward was that they'd be taken straight to the airport.

This 'reward' put them on the second plane out in the first leg, and because of this 'reward' they were at the back of the pack throughout. It resulted in the next leg them being on the last plane out with no other teams. This resulted in their exit, despite managing to catchup with one of the other teams.

I don't see how it was a 'reward' to automatically be put at the back of the pack in the first episode. It's not like they had a choice, this reward ended their race, and it was out of their own control. They should have instead just put them on the first flight

That's a shame bc this season is great and its cast is great

All the entertaining teams have been eliminated, only ones left I'm rooting for are Becca and Floyd

I won't be sad when this show is cancelled after this season, although I would like a special edition for a 30th and final season

I want to adopt team fun

I mean, every team is delivering in their own ways, even Matt and Redmond, but Brooke is pretty much the modern day Flo soooooo....... yeah this season's actually pretty great so far!

Well since I'm apparently the only one watching this treasure of a season let me continue talking to myself. LoLo's CPN breakout and them getting a rich family to take them to the Roadblock was easily the [non-Brooke] highlight of the episode :love:

Hopefully TAR30 is an All Winners or All Stars season to celebrate its last season

I'd be totally content with another random strangers paired up season again, I think? This season's fantastic and as skeptical as I initially was about the twist, I think one good thing is that it's forcing the editing team to focus on the relationships between teammates and not just pigeonholing people into their slots by occupation ("the cowboys" or "the Globetrotters" or "the snowboarders" or "the boarder patrol agents" et cetera et cetera)
