Sibling Rows

How do you solve sibling rows?

LukeB 11-04-2017 08:49 PM

Make them tea or coffee imo

caprimint 11-04-2017 08:51 PM

It's easy when you don't have siblings :spin:

Cal. 11-04-2017 08:51 PM

Well my sister has really upset me tonight and I said some very vicious things to her.

Daniel-X 11-04-2017 08:52 PM

I usually block them on everything and delete my profile on TIBB

Sounds like an intense court case tbh

You should let things cool down and see what it's like tomorrow. Apologise with tea or something as a I come in peace.

Same, when I find somebody else who doesn't I feel some special connection :dazzler:

There is no law saying you can't fall out with siblings.
Easier in life if you all get on, otherwise you just need to get on without them.

Amy Jade 11-04-2017 10:19 PM

I only have step siblings but if we ever argue I just leave it a day or so and then just forget it happened.

T* 11-04-2017 10:26 PM

don't talk to em

Denver 11-04-2017 10:32 PM

RKO them

this. sometimes you're better off without some people in your life. as much as people may say "but it's your sister", doesn't mean anything if they're not making you happy/want the best for you.

I have 3 brothers and we all get on very well, I very rarely argue with them and if we do argue we all pretty much handle it the same way, we all seem to calm down pretty fast and just make up and move on

Livia 12-04-2017 09:11 AM

My brother and I do argue, although not as much as when we were kids... then we'd have a row, maybe a bit of fisticuffs and it'd all be over. Now though, I like to get all my grievences out, deal with them and move on... while he likes to sulk for aaaages.

Vanessa 12-04-2017 09:19 AM

Me and my sister rarely argue. Could be because we live in different countries.

LOL... I notice I argue less with my brother when I'm out of the country. You may be on to something there, Ness...

I'm also very tolerant with her. She can get away with murder, cause i'm a big softie when it comes to her. Can't stay mad at her for long :hee:

LemonJam 12-04-2017 10:01 AM

me and my sister have argued about twice in our whole lives. I actually don't know how we'd solve it

Cherie 12-04-2017 11:07 AM

My sister and I row or get snippy with each other as we are totally different people but when we do, we just laugh about it the next time we speak. She is 5 years older so can be quite bossy which I find infuriating especially as you get older the gap become less, like we are both in our 40s now so stop bossing me around :oh: she has a heart of gold though and I can't stay mad at her for long, my brother on the other hand is the most selfish bastard as is his wife, I have zero respect for either of them so keep contact to the absolute minimum and that works a treat :hee:

'A bit of fisticuffs' that brings up a funny memory/image for me of when one of my sons was about to 'fight' one of his friends when he was about 8 - with his arms out in front of him and his fits poised, with his head turned away to protect his face. It makes me smile every time.
