Little Boy Blue Monday Monday 24th April ITV1
Little Boy Blue follows the fight to bring Rhys Jones murderers to justice in the weeks and months after his tragic death.
The four-part series focuses on the police investigation carried out by Merseyside Police and the production has the support of Rhys’ parents Melanie and Steve. The drama has been written by BAFTA award-winning screenwriter and executive producer Jeff Pope. Acclaimed actor Stephen Graham plays SIO Dave ‘Ned’ Kelly, who was the lead investigator on the case. Rhys’ parents, Melanie and Steve, are played by Sinead Keenan and Bryan O’Byrne. Little Boy Blue begins on ITV later this month. An exact date has yet to be announced. |

Tough to watch, some great performances, filmed with the families blessing, not being able to touch Rhys in the morgue was an accurate portrayal and Mel was asked to stay away from the trial as she was getting upset every day, though the scum that were on trial were laughing and flying paper aeroplanes

Hopefully this will pick up a BAFTA next year, some great acting.
