its such a cool idea, it's an android phone built into an iPhone case and it's coming soon

Lostie! 22-04-2017 03:45 PM

Android. Never had a smartphone that wasn't a Sony Xperia and no intention of changing that anytime soon.

I probably wouldn't mind it the other way round,

the one thing that annoys me about iPhone is you can't remove the battery if it needs replacing and you can't insert memory cards to up the GB

I think with that case you can change memory cards and stuff, it seems like a good idea to like back up pictures on and stuff and be able to get stuff you can't on iPhone

that's to protect both of the phones if you drop it because it still has a case function

Jamie89 22-04-2017 04:57 PM

I've had both and I prefer my Android, for me it's the expandable storage and customisation that wins it. The malware thing isn't really a problem if you have antivirus or are just careful, and the thing about all the interfaces not being the same... I don't really see why that would be a con? Patchy support, I don't know I've never used it.
And you just have more freedom with an open platform, Apple are too restrictive imo.
I prefer the iPhone's general aesthetic, but that's about it really.

You forgot "Abysmal battery life" for iPhone :hee:

The battery life has improved (well for me anyways)

Shaun 22-04-2017 05:51 PM

Nothing against iPhones but I've been Samsung since about 2006 and gotten used to them.

y.winter 22-04-2017 06:13 PM

Android. They even closed the UI aesthetic gap with iPhone. iPhone is way too overpriced and can be quite limiting in certain aspects. The same as Jamie said.

Jamie89 22-04-2017 06:36 PM

iPhone does have the best ringtones though

Android. iPhones are overrated from what I can tell.

Amy Jade 22-04-2017 08:18 PM

Had both and much prefer Android.

Amy Jade 22-04-2017 08:19 PM

Androids are easier to hack too :D

Shouldn't have to go on low battery mode and slow down the phone / dull the display just to get a day's use out if it :idc:.

iPhones are a fashion accessory, plain and simple. You can get a better piece of tech that costs far less. The same goes for pretty much every apple product, to be honest.

Smithy 23-04-2017 08:53 AM

iPhone, androids are gross
