Putting dog waste in normal bin?

So I'm at the park and I put my dog waste in a normal bin.

There wasn't a dog bin around as I was in the woods.

Is this allowed? Like I've never really known.

My mum puts it in either bin when we're out.

Obvs if there was a dog bin I would have put it in there.

I put it in whatever bin. I think the dog waste bins are only to encourage you clean up after your dog - I don't think they're the only bins you can use. There's only 2 dog waste bins on the route I take my dogs so I doubt they're the only bins you can use as there'd be one on every corner if so.

Put it in any bin, it will be in a tied bag anyway.
Things I've seen go in general public bins is staggering.
I came across a Parent changing a pampers on the grass and just slinging that as it was taken off straight in the bin.

It's pathetic now how few bins there are about now actually.

Ah okay, I always did think that too, that dog bins are too encourage people to pick up their dogs waste.

 Yeah there's barely any dog bins in my park, loads more normal bins.

There was an article in my local paper telling people to flick dog waste into shrubbery because its less harmful than dog owners putting it bags and then throwing them on the ground or hanging them fro trees and bushes.

Why would you even bother picking it up if you were going to do that? 😂

On a freezing winter morning I bet it's nice for your hands if you hold it in your pocket.
