We've already had Gogglesprogs, which saw kids commenting on their favourite TV shows, and now a teenage version is in the works.

As well as seeing them reviewing the latest telly from their couches, the cast will also be seen reacting to the latest viral videos online.

However The Sun newspaper reports on a behind-the-scenes struggle about what to call the new show.

"A teen version of Gogglebox has been a big priority for Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for a while now, especially after the success of kid spinoff Gogglesprogs, so they’re delighted it’s finally happening," a source said. “But it’s not been without challenges.

"The name has caused a right dilemma."

Apparently the show's original title was simply Goggleteens but now it may be changed to Screen Time to appeal to a different, younger audience.

The insider explained: "Gogglebox is such a beloved brand that viewers should come flocking, but it’s known for being a show that your mum and dad sit down and watch on a Friday night - which is not exactly appealing to teens.

"It’s been tricky to figure out.”

The main series of Gogglebox is currently in its ninth season with an average audience of 3 million viewers, making it one of Channel 4's biggest shows.

Gogglebox airs at 9PM on Fridays Channel 4.

No, I did used to watch the English one but I started getting fed up with that before the Irish one happened

I imagine Irish gogglebox just being people sat like, "Shoite, shoite, shoite, shoite... good documentary about potatoes... shoite, shoite, shoite."

I love Gogglebox, I like Gogglesprogs, and I'll probably enjoy whatever they call this (celeb spinoffs have been disappointing). I probably only watch about 3 shows a week on TV, but this is always one of them.

Yeah, I've lost some interest in it because some of the best viewers have left.

I've not watched regular Gogglebox for ages. Not intentionally but I don't watch much live telly anymore. I just use catch up for whatever I'm interested in.

But the novelty factor had worn off loads about two years ago.

Yeah it got **** ever since Steph and Dom left and they started having like 4 series a year. Scarlett leaving was the final nail in the coffin sadly!

Gogglebox has been toss for the last couple of years or so, Jenny and Lee are the only reason I occasionally tune in.

I do try and watch this now and then but i can't be bothered.

By the time they've finished milking this franchise even the biggest fans of the show will hate it with a passion!
Sadly it seems to be the way they do things these days.
