Best year of your life

Do you have a year that sticks out as your best

For me 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2017 so far are my faves

This one tbh. Uni, whilst still problematic at times, has been fab

2008-2009
I miss it

I wouldn't say there's one standout year, but 2004-2006 were good times. 2014 was alright just for the summer and this year could end up being really good too.

from my adult life id say 2015, it was the peak of my uni days and me and my friends would go out every single night and it was amazing, literally had so many crazy times

Every year gets better and better for me! I think it's easy to remember times better than they actually were. Misplaced nostalgia is always dangerous! R.

2007 stands out as a good one.

Indeed.
What you enjoyed and partake of in your youth might horrify you when you reach your twilight years:joker:
The best year in my life was the year I met hubby....then the years I had my kids.
Making the best of the here and now and popping a smile on your face helps as well.

I have some fond memories of mine and Margaret's early years (some of the best) but unfortunately there were many bad ones too (various money issues, Margaret made redundant twice). We're in a much more comfortable position now and all the happier for it! R.

Of recent years 2013, 2014 and 2016 stand out. Particularly the first and latter.

Nicky91 18-05-2017 04:33 PM

2006, 2011 and 2014 so far for me :)
