A little bit disappointed because I warmed up to Bulgaria winnng but obviously it didn't happen.

Worst winner! the song is ever so dull.

The winner actually gets worse every year.

I do think his speech was a bit egotistical but I think Portugal deserves it hell yeah

That's not the point. A song can click with you without understanding what the artist is saying, France for instance I barely undestood but thoroughly enjoyed.

If I googled it's english translation I wouldn't enjoy it any less or anymore.

I'm happy. Like I said earlier, his song is what Eurovision is all about—It's unique and gets people talking. I mostly enjoyed it because it was beautifully composed and sung. I relish in all types music Eurovision has to offer, hence why I also liked 1944 and wanted that to win last year. Also, it's great that a country that has competed for over fifty years has eventually won for the first time :love:

I agree. Jamala might be my favourite winner ever, and this guy was in my top 5 of the night. (I was actually disappointed when I looked up the lyrics though, it was just another heartbreak song).

Awful song, I was temporarily happy for him until he was like "this is a victory for real music with meaning! Not disposable music" Horrible rude twat

no, for me Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, UK, Italy had better performances
