I do always find it a little telling that Plaid Cymru gets an invite to these debates, but never the larger Northern Irish parties.

I think the thought process behind his strategy team is that if he shows up without her, he becomes the target of the other leaders. There's definitely pluses and minuses to him turning up

I just find it appalling that May is going to get away with not having to do this. Her campaign centres around stage managed events where she chucks workers out of buildings to fill them up with Tory cronies, restricts journalists from asking follow up questions (spent too much time with Trump evidently), avoids any members of the public whatsoever (until the other day which was a disaster, I'm sure Lynton Crosby was fuming) and just shoehorns her empty messages into any public appearance she can, like describing her childhood and upbringing on The One Show as 'very stable' FFS. And this bitch is gonna win, I despair I really do

You are right to despair,how she has.the support she has for really only reeling off strong and stable,makes me despair too.

I'm stunned the media are not totally ridiculing her for refusing to do debates,if she was and it was Corbyn or Farron refusing, the media and Con supporters would be shouting it from the rooftops deriding them.

I think Corbyn is wrong not to turn up, it looks like he bottled it, May is pompous and thinks she is too far ahead in the polls to bother.

Either that or as she said she would rather talk to people on the ground,I dont think she wants to win tbh,she seems pretty fed up of it all.lol,the fox hunting thing will see her off ,silly woman:wavey: she also did the FB thing where people had the chance to ask questions,I much prefered Cameron myself.
