I'm no evolutionary scientist.. but throwing away the 'it began in Africa' theory because they found 7.2million year old fossils of an ape-like creature in Europe, as opposed to the young and vibrant 7million year old fossils of Africa seems a bit irrational.

The article makes it look like its a done deal, the authors never actually suggested that it undoubtedly is the conclusion

Well they can only go with the evidence they've got.They may find an older one in Africa or Asia or anywhere.But for now Europe is the birth place of humanity

I cant imagine the article would have been published if they claimed Europe was the birthplace of humanity lol. You cant just draw conclusions like that. Well, Sarah Knapton of the Telegraph can.. but like what does she know apart from clickbait101

This kind of stuff is very interesting, I don't know if they'll ever have the real answer to that though
