Will you be watching BB or LI tonight?

Poll incoming...

BB for me, the LI cast reveal made me a bit less excited, where as BB cast seems very promising.

I'll watch LI afterwards.

I've watched a grand total of about two episodes of Love Island and I'm not sure I could stomach much more, so I'll stick to the highbrow stuff

Jack_ 05-06-2017 02:55 PM

Big Brother but only cause it's live and out of loyalty, I'm far more excited to catch up on Love Island after

MB. 05-06-2017 02:55 PM

(having said that, I'm very confident that Love Island will beat BB in the ratings)

:joker:

The whole premises of the show is good, it's just the cast that I struggle with.

Jason. 05-06-2017 02:58 PM

BB first and then LI on catch-up.

Natalie. 05-06-2017 03:03 PM

BB, I'll watch LI probably tomorrow

andybigbro 05-06-2017 03:06 PM

Both, but Big Brother live and love island in catch up

RedClouds 05-06-2017 03:26 PM

Watching Bb, love island is too MTV for my taste.

Wizard. 05-06-2017 03:33 PM

LI is trash

Shaun 05-06-2017 03:35 PM

cannot see the appeal of Love Island. It's everything we criticise Big Brother for becoming.

big brother live and than Love Island on catch up. I'm glad there's a backup plan if this BB series is awful.

Lostie! 05-06-2017 03:53 PM

Big Brother. From the sound of it, Love Island is just an amalgamation of so much of the aspects I don't like about Big Brother.

Love Island is actually more like Big Brother than Big Brother itself these days. It's better edited, better narrated, there's fewer twists, the casts are actually a lot more 'normal' than BB's are, and contrary to popular belief the coupling up aspect actually dominates less of the show than you'd expect, I realise this sounds ridiculous but I'd even go as far as to say showmances on BB are honed in on far more in terms of taking up airtime.

The criticism it gets is completely unfounded given what it's actually like. I remember I wasn't expecting to like it for exactly the same reasons, but gave it a try and ended up loving it.
