Loving the drama this series, but...
 

Anyone feel like we're not getting a proper feel of what's going on in the house?

I know that sounds stupid because the arguments are obviously part of what is going on and we don't get live feed anymore so obviously we won't know everything that's going on but it feels like because it's jumped straight into drama we haven't seen anything develop between the housemates.

I love the drama and the random arguments over things that aren't to do with production meddling (on the most part) but something about it seems a bit off/disjointed so far.

Yeah like it's kinda hard to see who likes each other atm when all they show is the rows.

I think because there hasn't been a proper task yet, so there isn't really much else to show to balance the drama.

It's going too fast

I want to see normal conversations

Yeah Arthur's wind ups don't really make a lot of sense in the context of who gets pissed off with him and who doesn't.

Yeah, when you watch the short bits of live feed it looks like a completely different house.. people mixing with others when we weren't even aware they got along. It does feel like it's just a bunch of people arguing with each other without any build up before hand of them getting to know each other etc

Yeah I have no idea what the friendship groups are in there, and Debbie/Kieran have been practically non-existent in the HLs yet they seem well-liked on the Live Feeds

yeah they need to sacrifice some drama for more fun and friendly story lines... also they've had a task like every bloody day i do wish they would just let them get on with it.

I agree. I'm enjoying all the natural drama (and I hope it stays that way), but there needs to be some fun moments in order to balance it all out so it doesn't become draining. It's why I love BB5/6 so much because they were both such cut-throat houses, but they still had the perfect mix of fun, drama and messy moments.

I agree and I feel like it'll fizzle out in another couple weeks or so if it carries on the way it's going, the novelty of just highlights shows crammed with arguments will eventually wear off.

The whole dynamic just feels odd because arguments are coming from nowhere with no real explanation, the storylines are just being thrust upon us with no real background as to where they stem from. I do think the first weeks been good but we could do with some fun as well and actual development to housemates/storylines.

This might sound weird but...

When they showed the "previously" clip of Imran just casually chatting about there being a flat earth in the garden with someone else, it just felt so much more natural and unedited and interesting. And I don't think random conversations happen any more unless they're about other housemates, or sex lives, or their run-ins with fame.

Sukhvinder and Arthur need to either chill or be evicted for the drama to calm down and we see friendships forming.

Tbf without Live Feed it normally takes about 2 to 3 weeks to properly start kicking in.

So far I think it's been okay, Arthur winding up the house and having fun, Chanelle and Raph having fun, Joe being the house grump that will antagonise most of the other Housemates and lose to Arthur and Raph within the next couple of weeks.

And of course We're gonna start seeing Tom having to lose the ego now that his not "The People's Housemate" anymore.

The only thing that this series is gonna be a problem for is the potential Showmances that are occurring.
