cable told him to get on his bike?

No loss if true  they need to stop electing people they think will be cool and go for someone with actual principles.

smudgie 14-06-2017 05:37 PM

Here for Jo Swinson taking the helm.

Pleased he has gone, I was hoping he would lose his seat, no more of his constant talk of stitch ups.

Finally, he can have the great big gay sex orgy he's always wanted

Jo would be great

I didn't like him and he was a weak leader, but the witch hunt over his beliefs are ridiculous, I don't hear Sadiq Khan being grilled on his views on certain topics or TM for that matter

arista 14-06-2017 06:03 PM

I don't really care but he did serve the greatest quips of the campaign

The Bake Off one will forever remain iconic

i have a problem with anyone that hides their true beliefs when they conflict with what they are saying in relation to politics, because they are trying to mislead the people voting for them. I apply this equally to all people, across all the parties.

joeysteele 14-06-2017 06:27 PM

Not a surprise, he only held his seat with under 800 votes.
He added humour to the campaign though to be fair.

Wizard. 14-06-2017 07:10 PM

Well he wasn't exactly very good at it anyway.

I agree. Sadly I don't think things will get any better, any time soon. That's showbiz

I agree. Priti Patel for PM!

Crimson Dynamo 14-06-2017 08:26 PM

Did you hear his awful reason for resigning? :bored:

One less leader who thinks bogus gods exist is a palpable win in my book

No political leader should follow any cult, it should be illegal

TM take note

Agreed

He wasn't great for the role but remember he took over leadership of a party that had just been decimated and lost the vast majority of their MPs. Leading the Lib Dems was not an attractive proposition in those circumstances but they have doubled their membership under him and increased their number of MPs by half so he has not been that big a disaster.

Mystic Mock 14-06-2017 11:55 PM

I hope that they can build on the foundation that he has built them during this last election as the Lib Dems are not a bad party.

the truth 15-06-2017 01:55 AM

So Christians are now banned from running for office but we open our arms to muslims because were a tolerant society? yeah that makes perfect sense? were a basket case on the road to ruin
