Kayleigh's voice

Is it grinding on anybody else? She sounds like a mouse

caprimint 15-06-2017 10:09 PM

Gemma/Marnie/Ellie/Chanelle's are all far more annoying

You must hear different frequencies to other people.

Kayleigh's voice, especially her pretend attempt at a posh accent while having the dialect of a total tramp, is beyond irritating.

Mystic Mock 15-06-2017 10:25 PM

Kayleigh's voice is not worse than Gemma's, Marnie's, or Ellie's imo, although it is terrible in it's own right.

The only thing that's good about Kayleigh is not personality based.

thisisdanny 15-06-2017 10:51 PM

It's so shrill. #CBBCamiLi

Time 15-06-2017 10:51 PM

I love the way Gemma pronounces words

rionablue 15-06-2017 11:09 PM

Some of the other voices are much much more annoying as other posters have said.

RhysJones 15-06-2017 11:10 PM

Nothing wrong with a Welsh accent, just saying. But if we're gonna attack people on the way they speak: Raph's awkward little chuckle annoys me

JTM45 15-06-2017 11:11 PM

It's the complete lack of awaereness that stands out with her the most i think.

Usually if someone's a bit crazy in an entertaining way their friends in the house can be seen smirking when they're acting up or kicking off but even the people closest to Kayleigh in there look embarassed (both for and by her!) by her behaviour.
Calling someone a ''c.u.n.t.'' repeatedly when they're not even close to being one is just about as un-classy and low of character as you can get. Vile, repulsive little child.

D: I use that word so much. Its just a word, and its pretty much part of everyday conversation round here (no I am not in wales though)

I knew I would be hated if I was on there if this is really the reason for the amount of hate she gets

You're managing to channel Ellie's obsession with Lotan with your obsession with Raph :dazzler:

I lowkey find it makes her hotter

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a Welsh accent (i have one myself and bloody lovely it is too:laugh:) but Kayleigh tries her hardest (with isn't very hard) to cover her accent up. As with everything she does she fails badly at it and it robs her of one of the very few authentic things she does actually posess.

I get a 'petulant, extremely self-obsessed spoilt child' vibe from her every second she's on our screens.

I can't imagine that you speak like Kayleigh to be honest Vicky. You certainly don't come over that way here on the forum anyway. Not just using that word but you put your words together far more eloquently than Kayleigh ever does, afai concerned anyway.

I think it's a pinnacle swear word but it needs to be used extremely sparingly and thoughtfully.
The way Kayleigh chuck's it around 'willy-nilly' just completely invalidates its impact, power and status at the top of the swear-word chain.

As much as i thought Imran's words were too much about her upbringing etc., it does make you wonder why she seems completely oblivious to the fact that her mother and probably other family and friends are witnessing her coarseness. IS this in fact how she speaks all the time and does her mother maybe do the same ? Did Imran maybe have a point after all ?

Nope. He was just being a tit and fairly misogynistic in his own choice of language tbh

As for speaking like that around parents...*gulp* I swear like a trooper around my mother too. She doesn't swear unless shes drunk either. But doesn't really care that I do, though I get awful glares off my dad is I say the F word. The C word he doesn't even flicker at though which is odd.

Maybe this is why I am not hating Kayeligh like everyone else. As swearing is so...normal for me. I have seen her language mentioned a lot when people are slagging her off. If the swearing was a large part of it then it makes so much sense how I seem to have missed what makes her quite so unliked (though I think how she treat Arthur was ****ing ridiculous)

Mystic Mock 16-06-2017 12:02 AM

I don't care if Kayleigh swears, it does bother me that she has no other type of vocabulary though.

caprimint 16-06-2017 12:02 AM

I don't see why '****' is any worse than '****ing bitch' etc tbh

I'm like the opposite of Vanessa with her blind love for him, I know that i just wouldn't like him in real life

JTM45 16-06-2017 12:21 AM

It's not the swearing that i find the most distasteful thing about her by a long way.
It's the absolute and complete disinterest in anyone other than herself that irk's me. Sukhvinder was talking very calmly to her and being completely fair in the job review with her on the latest episode and Kayleigh was clearly thinking in her normal, vile and self-absorbed fashion and starts abusing and name-calling Sukhi!!! Kayleigh was obviously thinking this would give her a dedicted spot of airtime on the highlight's show and, being as blatantly unaware of everything as she is,she probably thinks she's coming across as an absolute legend ('Bell-end' is closer to the truth).

When she realizes that she's pretty much universally loathed the tantrum will be.............probably pretty much identical to every tantrum outburst she's had in there. Stamp feet, say ''******'' far too much and blame everyone else instead of taking responsability for her own actions!

Reality TV's Sub-Z-List Hell awaits her! Billi Bhatti (sp.?) is the doorman apparently.

Mystic Mock 16-06-2017 12:22 AM

Billi Bhatti did make me laugh in the arguments with Charley Uchea though.

I can't quite explain it, it just sounds harsher imo.

Sure but why mention him in every post

y.winter 16-06-2017 10:33 AM

I feel sorry for the Welsh people for having to associate with her. She's everything that's wrong with the EOTB generation
