Live Launch Show Part 1
Friday 7th July - Day 1 Live

Emma stood in the centre of the circle stage, the part just after the catwalk. “That house is about to be filled with celebrities but who are they? Keep watching to find out … Run titles!”

Returning to centre stage, Emma began the main bulk of the show. “Hello and Welcome to the Live Launch of Celebrity Big Brother!” She shouted, as the crowd cheered in response. “Tonight we will be saying hello to eight if the biggest celebrities in the UK right now! Now you may be wondering why so little will be entering? We will find out in due course …” As she spoke, short flashes of the housemates, the ones shown in the teasers, appeared on the wraparound LED screens. “Shall we take a little house tour?”

I'm coming in the house to really test what I'm made of, and how well I can cope in a completely different environment to what I'm used to. I'm just hoping to have a great summer, and spend it with some great people!

“It's Holly.” Emma smiled - leaving the This Morning presenter to make her way don the catwalk to the tune of ‘Wake me up, Before you Go-Go’ by Wham. “Holly, its great to see you again!”

“Nice to see you too, Emma.” She put her arm over the hosts back, and faced the camera. “I have no idea what I'm letting myself in for!”

Emma laughed, shaking her head. “I'm sure you'll be fine, with your personality you'll be one of the best housemates in years!” She pointed towards the doors. “Right, you should get yourself in there! Good luck, and I'll see you on the other side …”

Upon entrance of the house, Holly complimented the colour scheme. “Oh my god, I love what you've done with the place Big Brother!”

“Shall we give her a friend?” Emma asked the crowd, to a cheered response. “This one could be playing Celebrity Cupid …”

“Its Paddy.” Emma introduced, watching Paddy enter to the stage, dancing to ‘Love Machine’ by Girls Aloud. “Paddy, let's have a quick chat before you get in. Now, you are known for playing Cupid so will you be matchmaking in the house?”

“Look Emma,” He began. “The first thing about love is that you have to let things go as they are and especially in that house, emotions are heightened. I'll definitely give a little advice, but I won't me matchmaking!”

“Let's see who your housemates are then, just head up those stairs and away you go!”

Paddy entered, spotting Holly, whom he knew fairly well, on the sofas. “Holly, fancy seeing you here!”

“It's great just to see a familiar face really.” She pulled him into the kitchen and opened the fridge. “I think there's some drinks here, do you want one?”

“Don't mind if I do!” Paddy smiled.

Emma continued the show. “So our first two housemates are in - we have Holly Willoughby and Paddy McGuinness. After the break we will meet the next three Housemates and trust me, there's some firecrackers! See you in 5 …”
