Will CBB also suffer a drop in ratings?

I think they might dwindle a bit especially if they're not careful with scheduling, but won't drop too much
But I also think maybe like people could switch off because they're bored of it or just might not bother

If UK vs USA which in my opinion was such an iconic series could only manage 1.9 million 2 years ago then I can see This upcoming CBB averaging 1.5 maximum. Channel 5's scheduling is killing this series it just feels like they've given up.

If it's All Stars, depending on the names it could do very well

EspeonBB 21-06-2017 04:31 PM

It's already declining isn't it? CBB19 was down on previous January series despite half the cast being 'all stars'

Jake. 21-06-2017 04:31 PM

They did in Jan so yeah

ethanjames 21-06-2017 04:31 PM

depends whos in it. if its previous stars it will probably do v well.

Depends on the caliber of celebs

Greg! 21-06-2017 04:34 PM

Who is rumoured? I heard about Sinitta and Pete Wicks but that's about it.

rph 21-06-2017 04:35 PM

Hope so and then they forced to axe it over BBUK and start bringing normal people back

supertv247 21-06-2017 04:36 PM

BB14 got 1.9 and the following CBB got 2.4
BB15 got 1.6 and the following CBB got 2.1
BB16 got 1.4 and the following CBB got 1.9
BB17 got 1.6 and the following CBB got 2.1

Every time, it's been 500k more than the BBUK that proceeds it, so it depends how bad this series goes..

supertv247 21-06-2017 04:37 PM

(I'm expecting this series to average 1.5m so around 2m official average for CBB) but then again, January had bad ratings which could then effect CBB more than it has BBUK

No ways will this series average 1.5 im thinking more 1.3.

Greg! 21-06-2017 04:39 PM

I don't have the energy to obsess over ratings anymore so I'll just enjoy the show.

The current average is 1.52m and I don't think the overnights can get worse. So adding 5-600k a night will be around 1.45-1.5m
I don't think it will go below timebomb which was 1.37m... that had bad overnight and catch-up figures, this year has the best catch-up figures ever. Pretty solid.

Jack_ 21-06-2017 05:01 PM

Fingers crossed

The overexposure of CBB has gone on far too long

Jason. 21-06-2017 05:09 PM

It'll be around half a million higher than what BB18 will average, so somewhere around 1.9m

Same here, will only be keeping an eye out for officials which ahem are quite remarkable x

supertv247 21-06-2017 06:06 PM

As of BB17, bbuk was going in the right direction, while CBB18 sent CBB in the wrong. I was hoping BB would continue to improve this summer and actually overtake CBB. But it ain't happening now with the figures this series has delivered

Cal. 21-06-2017 06:16 PM

Bear ruined BB.

Literally. We had our best January series yet, followed by one of the best civilian BB's with solid ratings. Then summer CBB had picked up ratings again, then Bear flushed it all away

this series won't average 1.5 at all. it will probably be the same as timebomb or lower. their first week average is the lowest from all c5 civilian. The ratings were alright first week so i expected the officials to be ok but after the first week the ratings dropped and it got worse. they haven't got a million viewers for days now and if 500k are catching up it will be 1.2/1.3 on the officials. so the average will go down. but i think the catch up number will also drop because they have gone to love island.
