Did Tom deserve his warning?
I know most on here cannot stand Tom (myself included) but I really do not think he deserved that warning, especially as BB checked with Savannah beforehand and she said she wasn't bothered.
IMO this is killing BB. The warnings about **** all. They get random warnings for stuff that isn't even a bloody problem. Something like that would have been laughed at in the c4 days ffs. Obviously if Savannah had had an issue then the warning would be 100% deserved but she didn't and found it all funny...as mates tend to do. Does anyone think that Toms warning was deserved? |
I think if Savannah had said she was bothered he would have been removed
The warning was the lighter option |
Whilst on this topic
He didn't get warned for talking about nominations yet again in the whole code to Keiran thing |
Yes.
|
WELL aaron frew got ejected for doing the exact same thing?? except tom used someone else's genitals instead of his own
|
No, his action was vile and disgusting, especially taking into consideration she asked him to stop. If anything he'd have been removed had she not said she didn't mind
|
I personally feel that a warning was warranted. It did seem a bit inappropriate and had Savannah been more offended by his actions, Tom would have been ejected.
|
I think a warning is justified, Aaron should have gotten the same (in bb16)

Savannah was not, and was saying get off but laughing her head off I find this the key difference |

I did think at the time that Aaron's ejection in BB16 was a bit random and unnecessary but once you do something like that you throw open the door for similar scrutiny of everyone else in the future.
Generally think a warning's fine but not an ejection/final warning for it, so long as the other party wasn't upset by it. |

like she had 2 grown men pinning her down justice for aaron frew! |
A warning was justified so it was made clear that whilst Savannah was okay with it this time, in another situation she or another housemate might've found it uncomfortable so ensures (or at least tries too) that it won't happen again
|
For sure.
Savannah AND Lotan asked him to stop. |
The warning was to cover their own asses.
Kinda thought this was evident. |
I cannot stand Tom but I thought "sexual intimidation" was a bit of a stretch.

We had 2 warnings of 'sexual intimidation' tonight too...anyone know what the second instance was meant to be?! |
They had to as it's going out on television and had to ensure that she was okay and they didn't want Tom to try it again... next time she may be uncomfortable with it. The last thing they need is a sexual assault lawsuit and scandal. The producers were doing their job. They should have stopped it the moment it happened though.

Just a warning maybe or a reminder of the rules? Savannah was fine with it so I didn't really think it needed taking much further.
|
And BTW, they've already made comments about her size. She's like a munchkin. They don't want to see a young woman being taken advantage out. Tom was playing, but it was obviously sexual in nature.

But there was another sexual intimidation warning after this :S |

He should've been ejected imo |
No way should he be ejected that is completely ridiculous, they were just messing about and Savannah was having fun also. I also believe a final warning was far too harsh, no one was hurt/upset/insulted - Infact all 3 parties were having fun, being silly and drunk and so yes I think BB overeacted and that he didn't deserve the warning.
|
Yes he did, it was disgusting. even if she was alright with it, it's gross
