Agree with Joe?

Anyone else agree with Joe that 4 newbies enter 4 weeks in and one ends up getting £15,000 out of the prize fund. I don't think it is fair and I think there should be a twist where the winning second chance housemate gives that money to another housemate. Who agrees with me or Joe?

sampvt 01-07-2017 05:04 PM

15K is nothing anyway, but the fact that these 4 duds get a chance at anything is more of a brain fart than anything.

Jodie. 01-07-2017 05:05 PM

No - it’s not Joe’s prizefund, the newbies didn’t know they were taking £15k, and the 100k hasn’t been guaranteed to any of them

Northern Monkey 01-07-2017 05:06 PM

lol it's not his money. It's a gameshow. He thinks its ready and waiting to go into his account already

smudgie 01-07-2017 05:11 PM

Not Joe thinking it was his own money.:laugh:
All is fair in this game show, anything goes.

pontyboi 01-07-2017 05:13 PM

I thought Joe was rich? Why does he care?

It just shows he's there for the money and not the experience.

Its an odd twist. But its also not anybodys money, so I dont see Joes point. Its like he thinks hes won it already or something.

Niamh. 01-07-2017 06:04 PM

They often do a money twist, its nothing new. He has **** all chance of winning anyway

Vicky. 01-07-2017 06:06 PM

I don't really see the issue but have c5 ever given the whole prize fund to the winner? I feel like there has been a money twist every year.

I also think the fund should be increased anyway. I mean 100k is a lot of money but its been the same for like 20 years whilst everythi9ng else has gone up. Should be at least 250 by now

jennyfromtheblock8 01-07-2017 06:12 PM

Think twist will be the winner can give back that 15k in order to become full house mate with a chance to win

Yeah but BB probably makes a lot less money now anyway and most of the HMs now are in their to try and get exposure

Helen's the only C5 winner who got the full amount stipulated on launch night, you couldn't write it

Chloe won the most ever though

LukeB 01-07-2017 06:25 PM

No, It's not even his money YET and he has no chance of winning. it's only 15 grand they still get a lot of money still

pontyboi 01-07-2017 06:37 PM

Tbf 15k is nothing if this wasn't a twist it should have been a new housemate steal the full ammount.

Ooh that would be cruel but great. They all reckon they aren't there for the money except for Deborah and Hannah...lets see them implode when the money is removed from the equation :D I am fairly sure I have heard Joe say he wasn;t there for the money before too, but then kicking off like that over 15k? lol

Was it BB8 where the housemates didn't even think there was a prize fund all the way through as it had been given to one housemate or something? Imagine that now, once the money was gone they would all just walk out

LukeB 01-07-2017 06:46 PM

it would have been interesting to see big brother lie to them and say they have stolen all of it :hehe:

I imagine that would happen.

Mick 01-07-2017 07:03 PM

I like these games which BB plays with the prize money,do you recall when Dexter thought he was walking away with 85k,or the look on Lukes face when his best mate did take 50k.

What if there was no prize money would there still be many who wished to gain a place on the show.? How much can a HM earn when leaving from mag interviews etc.?

bots 01-07-2017 07:12 PM

its joe's rightful prize money, its robbery ... that's what it is :fist:
