I'm an Irsh immigrant, my boys have English accents, they can do do good Irish ones if asked but speaking normally they sound English, so I don't get it...

Not sure what the problem is though? If she's proud of her Nigerian heritage and is used to hearing accents like that at home what's the issue?

I'm half African and slip into the occasional african accent from time to time, it's not harming anyone?

It's just odd, as unless she only associates with other Nigerians she would have a mixture of London/Nigerian not this full on accent like she got off the plane, I think she is putting it on...

First of all, it was Miss Nigeria UK, meaning only British-Nigerians are eligible.

Secondly, it was Hannah who won the title, not Deborah.

Feck me was there a train strike that day

DrunkerThanMoses 02-07-2017 04:41 PM

Im liking her more and more tbh, I found her really boring, then too much, then back to being boring, and much prefer her sister Hannah, but last day or so I quite like her as she is the best of a bad bunch, and Hannah is kinda meh to me now.

It's not, but it's a bit fake and over exaggerated I think, like someone pretending to be extra thick or extra camp to grab votes

Don't think her putting on a Nigerian accent will gain her any votes with the British public

She's having fun
