How do theychoosethe Veto host?
 

So I gather the host of the POV comp is decided by the producers. Does this mean their name is excluded from the draw? Doesn't this mean the host could be the replacement nominee? Or is the HOH told before the draw a shortlist of people the producers want to host, and the HOH "chooses" the person who's highest on the list but not drawn?

Normally the HOH chooses the veto host from the players that were not randomly picked for veto. Although sometimes guests enter the house to host.

Is it literally the choice of the HOH then? I thought the producers decided.

No its HoH choice after the draw is over. Unless someone like Nicole comes back to host it or something.

The worst thing about the veto draw is when someone gets backdoored after not being picked, feels kind of weak having to depend on literally the luck of the draw.
