Is alcohol ruining this years show?

I was just thinking last night what makes LI better than BB this year and I'm wondering is the alcohol a factor? I've yet to see them drunk on LI and yet it still provides daily entertainment.

Has BB begun to rely on the alcohol too much?

A lot of the rows are stupid and nonsensical because drink is involved.

hhhmmm not sure tbh, I think it may actually be boring if they didn't have it

ThatsMyUserName 11-07-2017 10:58 AM

Too much alcohol certainly is. What happened to the days when they had enough wine for about half a bottle each. And these days they seem to get everything. A number of times I've heard Sam list what he's drunk during the night and it includes Champagne. Champagne !! Why are they given Champagne ? Everyone knows it goes to your head straight away - conclusion, the producers want them drunk.

thank god none of you are producers. theyd all be sat round crochet bobble knitting

The alcohol does lead to some entertaining arguments but I personally feel like they should perhaps have it every other day, 3/4 times a week rather than every night.

I think they get given too much alcohol tbh but at the same time what would they be doing if they were not drinking. Unless big b gave them more tasks or mini tasks.

The tasks they've been getting are brutal tbf, none of them required teamwork, like running a hotel or whatever.

I was looking at BB5 the other day and they had a army task and there was murder because Ahmed wouldn't obey, it was hilarious.

Was that the same series where they had to run a fast-food place ? It was open 24hrs so they had people up all night and seeing them try to remember orders was very funny !!

Not sure but yeah, they're the kind of tasks I'm talking about. They're not challenged at all this year, the tasks are easy and even when they fail they don't seem to suffer anyway.

I would love tasks like this, C4 were more intense with tasks they gave. I remember the year where they had to stay awake and the year with boxes they had to stay in them. C5 seem more interested in getting them drunk and wanting them to hook up. We see more evening drinking in the highlights then anything else these days.

Nah the winner got a 3 course meal for the next 3 days as well as access to a fully stocked fridge. Anthony, Derek and Roberto won :hehe:

Littlegreen 11-07-2017 01:47 PM

I think the housemates possibly don't try as hard with the tasks because they know BB will always give them "refreshments".

Really, all treats should be earned through tasks. Why not painting or clay modelling... or body painting?

Do you guys remember two of them having a fight whilst in their boxes?? You shut up, no you shut up.:laugh:

Brilliant, I miss the good old days. :hee:
