Plus Isabelle is attractive, yes she is a little over tanned but she is far from ugly.

Ellie definitely has some insecurities and this is being demonstrated in her jealousy as regards Isabelle. Although I do believe Ellie loves playing the victim and likes the drama as she believes it will gain her airtime.
