17 for me

17 always.

BB18 x

The one with Ms Laura Carter

17 all the way with Evelyn making the final. I have zero interest in who wins this year and wish it was over. Yes I am still watching but I am way more interested in Love Island

18 by far.

17 is better because:
1. Jayne Connery
2. The messy production being shown on the show (playing audience noises at broad daylight to cover the sound of Natalie and Hughie arguing)
3. The live reveal of the other house: "Hi I'm Jayne Connery I'm 52 and I raise awareness for dementia", "oh my god that's my mum" "really?" "Nah", and the episode randomly cutting off for half the time
4. Bernardo and Laura <3
5. A gay marriage proposal (a lot better than whatever we're seeing with Sam and Elleh) only for Ed to cheat on Grindr (apparently?). Oh and Andy went on radio to call his mum racist while crying reading a poem so even if Ed didn't Andy's still a mess
6. An amazing eviction order (Sam and Alex should've been first evicted but them narrowly missing the final is iconic, oh and Teesh should've replaced Jackson in tha finale)
7. A homophobic MAN was evicted first in BB17 - sex-obsessed mum was first evicted in BB18. I know which eviction I prefer
8. Charlie walking off crying at every sight of Jason > Elleh's cries that scares LukeB's cat
9. Evelyn developing from a background character into one being worthy of being the highest ranking woman (Jayne was robbed but Evelyn was a worthy title carrier <3 ) > Charlotte developing from a background character to one who mouths up about something she's guilty for and isn't that bad
10. "Im a strong independent woman who doesn't want her interview to be about a man" Evelyn silencing Rylan >>> Elleh talking nonstop about Sam in her winner ( :( ) interview
11. Jackson crying and punching everything when Georgia was evicted is better than Tom crying over Joe
12. Sukhvinder's walk will never be as iconic as Victoria being MIA for over a year since she ran into the camera runs

Reasons why BB18 is better than BB17:
1. It's not
2. Chanelle and Raph > Evelyn and Laura

Natalie and Jayne >>>>> anything this series

BB17 was a true classic

BB18 had potential to be one until Lotans ejection

Both are good but BB17 was more consistent and had less dull episodes. The other house twist was a complete mess mind.

I want to change my vote, BB18 has been better.

17 is NOT as good as 18 and THAT;S THAT

I'd say they're pretty evenly matched. I feel like BB18 has a marginally better cast, but it also had more annoying messy twists.

What it comes down to though is that BB18 had higher highs, like fight night and this final 4, when BB18 got boring it got really boring. Like to have 10 days of utter nothingness 3 weeks in is unacceptable. But the rest apart from VIPs was very solid.

So basically idk
